COPS ON THE R.U.N. - Cops Running as a Unified force for stronger Neighborhoods

A 1k Youth Run and 5k Run/Walk is scheduled for August 13, 2011 to support community-police partnerships in Warren County.
The first COPS on the R.U.N. Event will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Meadow Breeze Park located just off of Route 57 with the first race beginning at 9:00. The purpose of this event is to raise funds to support community-police partnership activities such as National Night Out, community clean-up events, and other activities to strengthen youth involvement in prevention based programs in Warren County.
Advanced Registration is strongly encouraged for this event. Race registration forms are available at the Phillipsburg Police Department, NORWESCAP 350 Marshall Street, or Community Prevention Resources of Warren County located on Route 57 in Washington. Or, electronic registration can be completed at www.active.com.
1k Youth Run-This event is free, but pre-registration for T-shirt before August 1st is required. This race will begin at 9am.
5k Run-Registration is available until 8:45 on the day of the event. Race day registration is $20, but pre-registration is discounted to $15.
T-shirts are available for pre-registered runners. This race will begin at 9:15.
5k Walk- Registration is available until 8:45 on the day of the event. Race day registration is $20, but pre-registration is discounted to $15. T-shirts are available for pre-registered walkers. This race will begin at 9:15.
Awards will be provided with three awards in each category, overall male and female winners as well as a fastest Team award.
Sponsorship opportunities are available with levels beginning at $50.00.
