Hackettstown Kiwanis Club slates Wine Tasting Fundraiser

HACKETTSTOWN (Sept. 20, 2011) – The Kiwanis Club of Hackettstown has announced that it will be hosting its first annual Fine Wine Tasting & Gourmet Dinner on Friday night Oct. 14 at Panther Valley Golf and Country Club in Allamuchy Township.

The Hackettstown club, which was established over 85 years ago, financially supports many non-profit organizations and needy families throughout the area. Proceeds from this event will provide funds towards important causes in the region.

Tickets are just $70 per person (tables of 10 for $650) and includes a gourmet 4-course dinner. Specially chosen wines, courtesy of Shop-Rite Liquors in Hackettstown, will be paired with each course. The price for “designated drivers” is only $60.

In addition to the fine wine and food, there will be a Silent Auction. The evening starts at 6:30 and goes until 9:30.
