DASACC brings horse racing to Warren County with “Night at the Races Beefsteak”

The Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault
Crisis Center of Warren County (DASACC) is hosting their 5th annual
Night at the Races Beefsteak on Thursday, March 28th at the Independence Fire
Hall located at 24 Cemetery Road in Great Meadows. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and
the races kick off at 7 p.m.

“We are so excited to be hosting the very
entertaining 5th annual Night at the Races.
The dollars that are raised at this event are used to support the
necessary services to our community,” said Executive Director Jill Zinckgraf.

The Night at the Races Beefsteak
will feature videotaped horse racing, narrated from start to finish by many of
America’s top-rated announcers. The races will be projected on a big screen,
attendees will be given the opportunity to bet on the horse races, and winners
will receive funny money that can be used to purchase tickets for a chance to
win more than 30 prize baskets.  Attendees
can also purchase a horse, name it, and be entered to win 1 of 3 grand prizes
that are only available to horse owners.

Tickets
are $50 and are available at DASACC.org.  Contact Pamela Drager at 908-453-4121, ext.
