(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) – The 14th Annual WRNJ Radio Auction will be held live on WRNJ Radio (1510 AM, 92.7 and 104.7 FM) on Friday and Saturday, March 8th and 9th, 2013. All proceeds from the Radio Auction will benefit the Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center.
Thanks to the generosity and cooperation of the area business community, a wide variety of interesting items and essential services will be up for bid.
Anyone can preview auction items and place bids, 24/7, during an online “early bid” portion of the auction that is available now and will be active until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 6th. To access this “early bid” portion of the auction, click the Radio Auction icon on one of two websites: HRMC’s website www.hrmcnj.org, or WRNJ’s website, www.wrnj.com.
First-time visitors will need to register by clicking on the “register” button and completing all information required. After that, registered visitors can log in as often as they’d like, via their secure password. The bidding process is easy – prompts will guide bidders through a simple 3-step process to place, confirm and submit a bid. Interested bidders are encouraged to check the auction site often, since new items will be added periodically in the weeks ahead.
It’s important to note that the on-line “early bid” portion of the auction does not guarantee winning. All items will be carried over to the “live” portion of the auction on March 8th and 9th, where bidding will continue live on the air. The highest bidder for each item, following the “live” on-air auction, will be the actual winner.
