Crash investigation leads to arrest of wanted man in Hunterdon County

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Readington Township Police say a crash investigation on Saturday has led to the arrest of a wanted Middlesex County man.

On Sept. 24, at around 12:43 p.m., while police were investigating a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident, it was discovered that the passenger, who was identified as Celestino Diaz of North Brunswick, was wanted on a $50,000 National Crime Information Center (NCIC) warrant out of Middlesex County Superior Court, police said.

Diaz was arrested and then lodged in the Warren County Jail, police said.
