Your business can help sponsor the parade coverage and let the community know that you support local community events!  WRNJ will begin broadcasting from the Trinity Church starting at 3PM and will broadcast for the duration of the parade.

The Sponsorship package includes:

  • 20 ten-second promotional announcements the week before the parade identifying your business as a sponsor of the “LIVE” coverage.

The BID is very happy to announce this year’s Grand Marshall is Mr. Kevin O’Neill, Kevin is a life long resident of Hackettstown with his family heritage tracing back to Bantry, Ireland on the southern coast.

Mr. O’Neill’s Family immigrated to America during the great potato famine in the mid-1800′s. “We are very pleased to have Mr. O’Neill as the Grand Marshall this year, he is a great choice for our 4th annual celebration”. He and his family have been very involved with Hackettstown over the years and this a great way to acknowledge them” states Jim Sheldon, Executive Director Hackettstown Business Improvement District.

This year’s parade route will begin at the intersections of Washington Street and Grand Avenue marching towards Main Street making a right handed turn eastwards towards Mountain Avenue (AKA State Hwy 182) the route continues down Mountain Avenue until the gates of the Union Cemetery across from Quick Chek.

This year’s parade will feature Irish musical bands such as, Rory O’Moore Pipes and Drums, Morris County Police Pipes and Drums, Rampant Lion Pipe Band, St. Ann’s of Hampton Pipes & Drums. In addition, both the Junior and Senior Colonial Musketeer’s Corps’ will be performing at the parade many other groups will be participating. Performing again this year is the “Aqua String Band” of Philadelphia, which is always a crowd favorite.
