1 dead, 1 seriously injured at home in White Twp.

WHITE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) – One person was killed another sent to the hospital with serious injuries following an incident on Butzville Road in White Township.

On Tuesday morning, emergency crews were dispatched to Easter Seals, Butzville Road for a report of a male unconscious and unresponsive per radio broadcasts.

After crews arrived on scene, EMS reported a weapon was in the residence per emergency broadcasts.

Oxford EMS along with Hunterdon Medical Center Paramedics requested that an Air Medical Helicopter be placed in the air for one patient with severe injuries following the incident. Mountain Lake Fire Department established a landing zone at Oxford Textiles where they met Atlantic Air 1 which is based out of Netcong to transport the victim to Morristown Medical Center.

Oxford Twp Fire Departmemt was assisted at the scene by the Mountain Lake fire Department due to a report of a fire alarm going off in the background during the initial 911 call.

New Jersey State Police have confirmed that one person is dead. Identities of the involved parties, the nature of the incident and other details have not been released as the investigation is continuing.

Property tax records list the home as being owned by Easter Seal Society of NJ, Inc.

Responding agencies were Oxford Emergency Squad, Mountain Lake Fire Department, New Jersey State Police, New Jersey State Police Crime Scene Unit, Warren County Prosecutors Office, and Atlantic Air 1.
