Man arrested after police find nearly 2 pounds of marijuana, 54 grams of cocaine and 8 grams of heroin

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A New York man was arrested in Jefferson Township after a traffic stop led police to marijuana, cocaine and heroin earlier this month.

Ivan F. Perales, 42, of Patterson, NY, was charged with possession of marijuana, cocaine and heroin, possession of marijuana, cocaine and heroin with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On November 18, Morris County Park police officers Anthony Brunone and Christian DiGiralomo executed a motor vehicle stop for an alleged moving violation in Jefferson Township, police said.

A police investigation led to Perales allegedly being in possession of almost 2 pounds of suspected marijuana, 54 grams of suspected cocaine and 8 grams of suspected heroin, police said.

Perales was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.
