Medina reversed her vehicle and again attempted to negotiate the turn and struck the southern portion of the guiderail face/concrete bridge face before leaving the scene. Prior to police arrival, eyewitnesses followed and eventually stopped Medina approximately one half mile east of the accident scene, police said.
