Woman charged for exposing herself on Route 46 in Mount Olive Twp.

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Newton woman has been charged after she was allegedly exposing herself to passing motorists along Route 46 Friday evening.

Rachel B. Bellaff, 46, was charged with lewdness and disorderly conduct.

At 8:55 p.m., Officer LaRicci responded to the area of Route 46 and the Conoco Gas Station for the report of a female walking along the highway exposing herself to passing motorists, police said.

Officer LaRicci located Bellaff in the area of the Budd Lake Diner and after speaking with her, he allowed her to continue walking, police said.

A short time later, Officer LaRicci observed Bellaff jump in front of a passing vehicle, make obscene gestures, then lift her shirt and exposing herself, police said.

Officer LaRicci stepped back out with Bellaff and placed her under arrest, police said.

Bellaff was transported to police headquarters where she was charged and then released pending a court hearing.
