Woman facing charges after stabbing in Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A Hackettstown woman is facing assault and weapon charges after she allegedly stabbed a person on Monday morning.

According to police, at 12:38 a.m., town police responded to the 700 block of Washington St for a report of a laceration injury.

When officers arrived on scene, the victim was walking outside holding their left shoulder, police said.

Through a police investigation, they determined that Jaime Stollenmaier, 20, of Hackettstown, NJ stabbed the victim in the shoulder with a knife after a verbal argument, police said.

The victim was transported to Hackettstown Medical Center by Hackettstown First Aid & Rescue Squad, police said.

Stollenmaier was charged with fourth-degree aggravated assault, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon. She was lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility.

Assisting at the scene was the Hackettstown Detective Bureau and Mansfield Twp. Police.
