2 charged after alleged dispute over scooter, money

ROCKAWAY BOROUGH, NJ (Morris County) – An alleged dispute over a scooter and money has led to an adult and a juvenile being charged.

S. Doychak, 21-year-old female, of Rockaway, NJ was charged with defiant trespassing, simple assault, and violent behavior.

A 15-year-old male was charged with criminal mischief, violent behavior, and a curfew violation.

On May 29, borough police responded to a residence on Academy Street in reference to a dispute, police said.

Through a police investigation, it’s alleged that Doychek assaulted one of the victims and attempted to enter the residence on Academy Street while acting disorderly. The juvenile allegedly acted disorderly and broke 2 windows and a screen with a baseball bat, police said.

The dispute was reportedly over a scooter and money, police said.

Doychek and juvenile were both charged and released pending a court date.
