31RIDE shuttle will no longer be in operation starting Jan. 1 due to lack of riders

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – After launching the 31RIDE shuttle in 2016, Warren County officials are pulling the plug on the program due to lack of ridership.

A post on the Warren County Government’s Facebook page said, “Due to lack of ridership, effective January 1, 2019 the 31RIDE shuttle will no longer be in operation. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

The service started on June 6, 2016 and was to provide Warren County residents with transportation from Oxford to the Clinton Park and Ride near Interstate 78.

The service was designed to alleviate traffic along the Route 31 corridor and the hassle of finding a parking space.

The Route 57 shuttles – Hackettstown-Washington and Washington-Phillipsburg – will continue to operate.

Anyone that has questions, should contact the Warren County Department of Human Services at 908-475-6331 or Easton Coach Company at 866-594-4044.
