MANSFIELD TWP,NJ (Warren County) – A vehicle struck a house and a utility pole on Route 57 near Airport Rd Monday afternoon.
Shortly before 3:00 p.m. emergency crews responded to the crash scene.
According to reports from the scene, the driver was transported to Hackettstown Medical Center. The current condition of the victim was not available.
Randy Wanous, who owns the home, told RNJ that he was inside when he heard an eerie sound, looked and everything fell down in the corner of the house.
The Mansfield Township Building Inspector told RNJ “The house has been deemed safe and there was some damage to an interior fireplace.”
Wanous praised the emergency responders for their quick response.
Police haven’t released details on what caused the crash.
