Cause of house fire in Allamuchy Twp. under investigation (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) — The Morris County Fire Inspectors Office is investigating the cause of a fire at an abandoned home on Oak Crest Drive in Allamuchy Township Friday evening, according to State Police spokesman Sgt. Lawrence Peele.

The fire was reported at 1 Oak Crest Drive at 8:10 p.m., Peele said.

According to radio reports, a fire was reported on the deck and extended to the structure.

There was a partial collapse of the side of the house, according to radio reports.

Fire department tankers used a hydrant on Bilby Road as a fill site.

No injuries were reported, Peele said.

The fire was brought under control in two hours, Peele said.
