Driver injured after tractor-trailer overturns on I-80

HARDWICK TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A truck driver was injured after his tractor-trailer overturned late Friday evening on Interstate 80 in Hardwick Township, according to State Police spokesman Trooper Alejandro Goez.

The driver, identified as William Gyori, 60, of Garfield N.J., was transported to St. Luke’s Warren Campus with “non-life-threatening injuries,” Goez said.

The cause of the 11:55 p.m., crash is still under investigation. The eastbound tractor-trailer overturned in the left lane at mile marker 1, Goez said.

The eastbound lanes were intermittently closed while crews cleaned up the debris, Goez said.

All eastbound lanes were reopened at 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning, Goez said.
