Fire damages grain dryer in Tewksbury Twp.

TEWKSBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – There were no injures reported after a grain dryer caught fire Friday morning.

At 7:07 a.m., officers responded to Clucas Farms, located on Homestead Road, for a report of a grain dryer fire.

According to police, at around 6:00 a.m., a resident noticed that the grain dryer was burning.

Damage to the grain dryer was estimated to be at around $100,000.

Assisting at the scene were fire departments from Oldwick, Pottersville, Far Hills, Fairmount, Califon, Lebanon and East Whitehouse.
