Firefighters extinguish brush fire in Blairstown Twp. (PHOTOS)

BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Firefighters extinguished a brush fire Monday afternoon in Blairstown Township.

The fire began at around 4:00 p.m. off of Walnut Valley Road in the area of Beechwood Road.

Township police reported the 200 x 200 brush fire was under the power line right of way.

No homes were damaged.

Assisting the Blairstown Hose Company was the New Jersey Forest Fire Service and Blairstown EMS.
