GoFundMe set up for Warren County family who lost everything in fire

HARMONY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A GoFundMe page has been set up to a help the Smith family who lost everything in a house fire Saturday morning.

Firefighters responded to the first-alarm fire at 251 Fiddlers Elbow Road shortly after 12:00 a.m.

The family was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported, according to New Jersey State Police Sergeant Jeff Flynn.

The fire remains under investigation, Flynn said.

Nichole Ehasz, whose sister and brother-in-law owned the home, started the GoFundMe page to help the family get back on their feet with daily necessities, clothing, and food.

The family is in desperate need of essentials such as clothing and toiletries, according to a post on Nichole Ehasz Facebook page.

  • Lee Ann Smith- adult size 6 pants, small adult tops, and shoe size 8.5.
  • Male- adult pants 32/30, medium shirt, size 9 shoe.
  • Teen age girl 14- adult size 4 pant, adult small top, and shoe size 8.
  • Teen age girl 12- pant size youth 10, size 10/12 tops, and shoe size 7.

The GoFundMe page with a goal of $2,000 has already raised $12,503 as of Saturday afternoon.
