Hackettstown Elementary PTA Science Fair winners announced

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) Hackettstown High School turned into a science extravaganza on Saturday for the annual Hackettstown Elementary PTA Science Fair. Kindergarten – 8th graders from Hatchery Hill, Willow Grove, Hackettstown Middle School, Central School, Liberty School and Great Meadows Middle School shared with others their research topics, data and experiments. The following students were recognized for their excellence:

Kindergarten:
Honorable Mention Demonstration: Ryan Russo “Pluto and Friends”
Best Demonstration: Jackson Keane “Tornado in a Jar”
Honorable Mention Experiment: Amelia Cain “Dissolving Color of a Skittle”
Best Experiment: Parker Vasquez-Grinnell “Baking Soda Rocket”

First and Second Grade:
Hon. Mention Demonstration: Leo Carducci “Rock Candy Crystals”
Best Demonstration: Garrett Kang “Candy and Medicine”
Hon. Mention Experiment: Amelia Seligman “Circuits”
