Hackettstown-Mansfield PBA autumn food drive starts Oct. 27

Hackettstown-Mansfield PBA Local 369 is sponsoring an autumn food drive to benefit the Trinity United Methodist Church Lord’s Pantry in Hackettstown. The PBA will start accepting donations on October 27.

Items can be dropped off at both the Hackettstown Police Department, located at 215 West Stiger St and the Mansfield Township Police Department, located at 100 Port Murray Rd, until November 10.

The PBA is requesting:

  • canned vegetables;
  • pasta, canned dinners;
  • pasta sauces;
  • instant potatoes;
  • peanut butter;
  • jelly;
  • cereal;
  • canned fruit;
  • soup;
  • stuffing;
  • muffin mixes;
  • juice;
  • gravy;
  • rice;
  • canned tomatoes;
  • canned potatoes;
  • cranberry sauce.

Those able to donate a turkey are asked to contact either police station.

The Trinity’s Lords Pantry feeds approximately 850 families per month and that number rises considerably for the holidays.
