Hackettstown Police find 2 unusual violators during Click It or Ticket

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Hackettstown Police were involved in the recent Click It or Ticket campaign and two unusual violators were discovered.

During the two-week campaign there were 81 tickets issued for drivers, front seat passengers or backseat passengers not wearing their seat belts, police said.

There were 15 cell phone/texting tickets, six suspended driver tickets, two speeding tickets, a reckless driving ticket, a driving while intoxicated ticket, 1 warrant arrest, 1 drug arrest and 60 tickets issued for other moving and non-moving violations, police said.

Police also found a driver who wasn’t wearing her seat belt because she was changing her clothes, police said.

And another driver was on the cell phone playing Candy Crush, police said.
