Hackettstown Street Fair brings road closures and parking restrictions

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Hackettstown’s annual street fair will be held this Sunday, September 16 and police are warning motorists that Main Street will be closed between Route 517 (High Street) and East Plane Street.

The road will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., according to Hackettstown Police. Police officers will be posted on both ends of the road closure to assist with the traffic.

There will be no parking on either side of that portion of Main Street.

There is also no parking on West Moore Street from Washington Street to Main Street, and on East Moore street from Sharp Street to Main. West Moore and East Moore streets will also be closed to vehicle traffic.

Police advise that any vehicle parked in a no parking zone will be ticketed and towed.

The street fair will be happening from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will feature more than 100 artists, crafters, vendors, and food concessions all along Main St. An estimated crowd of 10,000 comes to experience the visiting vendors, live performances throughout the day, as well as local shopping. This event offers a bit of something for everyone and is broadcasted live on WRNJ Radio.
