Hackettstown’s Oktoberfest: What you need to know

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Before heading out to Hackettstown’s Oktoberfest, which starts this Friday and runs through Sunday, here is what you need to know.

Bea McNally’sCzig Meister Brewing Co.Homebrew University and Man Skirt Brewing will host activities, contests, music, drinks and food at their Platz through regular operating hours. This Oktoberfest is a family friendly event; there will also be a variety of non-alcohol related activities.

Signups for the activities and contests will be available at each Platz (brewery) corresponding to location and begins at 12:00 pm.

Platz locations will be at Czig Meister Brewing, located at 106 Valentine St., Man Skirt Brewing, located at 144 Main St., Homebrew University, located at 156 Main St., and Bea McNally’s, located at 109 Gand Ave.

Bea McNally’s Oktoberfest Activities:

  • Beer truck all weekend long (Friday – Sunday)
  • Authentic German Brewed Beers from Munich, Germany + American brewed beers
  • Craft Cocktails & Wine
  • Parking lot tent
  • Grilled Food inside and out
  • Bands all weekend long

Hackettstown Police have announced that that following roads will be closed on Saturday from approximately 10:00 am – 8:00 pm ;

  • Route 46 (Main St) between Route 517 (High St) and Liberty St.
  • Valentine St between Route 46 and Washington St. (Will be closed starting at 9:00 am)
  • Grand Ave between Route 46 and Washington St.

On Sunday the following roads will be closed from approximately 10:00 am – 6:00 pm:

  • Valentine St between Route 46 and Madison St.
  • Grand Ave between Route 46 and Washington St

There will also be no parking on the following streets from 10:00 am – 10:00 pm:

  • Route 46 between Liberty St and Grand Ave. (Saturday Only)
  • Valentine St between Route 46 and Washington St. (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Liberty St between Franklin St and Route 46. (Saturday Only)
  • Franklin St between Liberty St and Route 517. (Saturday Only)

Police advise that any vehicle parked in a no parking zone will be ticketed and towed. Plan an alternate route and expect delays in the area, police said.
