Huge turnout for Hackettstown hospital’s colors for cancer fun run and walk (PHOTOS)

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Colored powder filled the air Saturday morning as the Foundation for Hackettstown Medical Center held its Colors for Cancer Fun Run and Walk.

The participants were gently showered with non-toxic, biodegradable, cornstarch-based colored powder as they passed sponsored color stations around Riverfront Park in Hackettstown.

Nancy Brown, longtime area resident, active volunteer and proud cancer survivor, was the Honorary Chair of the event.

All the money raised will benefit the Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Hackettstown Medical Center, funding cancer programs and services for high-quality cancer care close to home.
