HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Hundreds of volunteers went to Trinity United Methodist Church Friday night for the express purpose of preparing 5,000 meals to be delivered by the “Caravan of Hope”. This army of volunteers took donated components that included 1,300 lbs. of turkey, thousands of rolls, fruit, cookies and more – filling lunch boxes to feed those in need. Then Saturday morning the meals were loaded into a fleet of 54 vehicles destined to feed the hungry. Their trips spanned this state and neighbors to our west in Pennsylvania. The coordinated effort was the largest mission to date for Hackettstown’s Trinity United Methodist Church.
