Man accused of racking up more than $14K on stolen gas cards

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A Bergen County man is accused of racking up more than $14,000 on gas cards he allegedly stole from his employer.

Donald Mandeville, 46, of Midland Park was charged on Thursday with third-degree theft by unlawful taking.

On April 25 at around 2:50 p.m., the Hackettstown Detective Bureau initiated an investigation into a report of an employee who two gas cards belonging to Willow Grove Trucking, located at 859 Willow Grove St, police said.

Through a police investigation, it was revealed that Mandeville used the gas cards between March 6, 2018 and April 25, 2018 to fraudulently purchase gas for his own personal benefit totaling in $14,200.00, police said.

Mandeville was released pending a court appearance.
