Man arrested after barricading himself inside motel room with foot-long machete

RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Pennsylvania man was arrested after he barricaded himself inside his motel room with a foot-long machete.

Terrence T. Rollins, 28, of Bensalem was charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, obstructing the administration of law, criminal mischief and Disorderly Conduct, police said.

On Nov. 2, at 6:00 p.m., officers responded to the Ramada Inn, located at 250 Route 202/31, for a property dispute, police said.

Rollins allegedly threatened the arriving officers and barricaded himself inside his motel room, police said.

Officers were able to arrest Rollins without incident, police said.
