Man charged with distributing methadone

VERNON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A year-long investigation into the overdose death of a Vernon Township resident has led to the arrest of an Oak Ridge man, police said.

Billy Bohmer, 29, was charged Tuesday with third-degree distribution of methadone.

After a year- long investigation into the overdose death of a Vernon Township resident, Bohmer was charged with allegedly distributing methadone, police said.

Bohmer was released pending a future Sussex County Superior Court Date.

Assisting with the investigation was the Sussex County Prosecutors Office.
