LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – An elderly man who was found lying on the side of a Liberty Township road apparently suffered a medical emergency Tuesday evening, according to New Jersey State Police spokesman Sgt. Lawrence Peele.
A passerby found the man lying on the side of Danville Mountain Road near Hanzel Woods Dr at around 5:54 p.m., Peele said.
Through a preliminary police investigation it was revealed that the man was riding a bicycle but there is no indication that he was struck by a vehicle, Peele said.
The man’s identity was not known due to him not having in his possession any identification, Peele said.
The man was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center and his current condition was not known.
