NJ man sentenced to 7 years in prison for burglary

FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A New Jersey man was sentenced to prison for residential burglaries in Hunterdon County.

Lesly Valentin, 32, of Asbury Park was arrested in May, 2017 and charged with criminal attempt, burglary, criminal mischief and theft, according to Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns III.

The charges were in connection with residential burglaries in Hunterdon County, Kearns said.

According to Prosecutor Kearns, On August 10, 2017, A Hunterdon County Grand Jury handed down a 15 count indictment on Valentin.

On April 27, the Honorable Angela Borkowski, J.S.C., sentenced Mr. Valentin to 7 years in state prison, Kearns said.
