NJ State Police nab wanted man with cocaine

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – New Jersey State Police captured a wanted man and found him with cocaine Monday evening.

Hamilton McMillan, 41, of Bolton, NC, was charged with possession of cocaine and hindering.

At 7:41 p.m., troopers stopped McMillan for a traffic violation on Interstate 287 southbound at milepost 39 in Hanover Township.

During the stop, McMillan provided troopers with a false name and date of birth. After troopers determined McMillan’s correct identity, they discovered he was wanted out of Morris County for credit card fraud. Troopers arrested McMillian and also found he was in possession of cocaine.

McMillan was lodged at Morris County Jail pending a detention hearing.
