Officials trying to help deer whose antlers are stuck in basketball hoop

PARSIPPANY, NJ (Morris County) – Nothing but net — but not exactly a slam dunk for a poor deer in Parsippany.

According to Parsippany Animal Control, they’re aware of this buck who unfortunately got a toy basketball hoop stuck in his antlers.

The deer was spotted in the Park Rd and Route 202 area.

Animal Control is coordinating with state officials to have the hoop safely removed from his antlers.
