Pa. man facing heroin charges

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Pennsylvania man is facing drug charges in Hunterdon County, according to Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives Frank R. Crisologo, and Clinton Township Police Department Officer in Charge Lieutenant Ryan Melsky.

Benjamin D. Gower, 40, of Bangor was charged with third-degree possession with intent to distribute heroin, third-degree possession of heroin and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, Kearns said.

On August 9, Gower was arrested on narcotic charges after a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office’s Narcotics Task Force and the Clinton Township Police Department, Kearns said.

Gower was released pending his first court appearance.
