Police investigate 2 home burglaries in Knowlton Township

KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – New Jersey State Police are investigating two home burglaries that occurred earlier this month in Knowlton Township, according to Blairstown Township police.

The first home was hit on Oct. 2 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:3 0p.m., on Station Road.

The front door was kicked in and entry was made. The suspect(s) stole multiple guns and jewelry from the bedrooms.

A pillowcase was removed from a bedroom pillow and was found to be missing. It is suspected that the pillow case was used by the suspect(s) to carry stolen items from the home.

Then on Oct. 10 between 6:10 a.m. and 3:20 p.m., on Knowlton Road.

The front door was kicked in and entry was made. The suspect(s) stole multiple guns and jewelry from the bedrooms.

A pillowcase was removed from a bedroom pillow and was found to be missing. It is suspected that the pillow case was used by the suspect(s) to carry stolen items from the home.

Both burglaries fit a similar pattern and were in the same vicinity of the township.
