Police remind residents it’s illegal to put leaves into street

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The Mansfield Township Police Department are reminding residents not to place leaves in the roadway.

According to police, the township does not offer leaf pickup or drop-off.

Residents are urged to contact a landscaper to pickup the leaves, police said.

“Technically it is littering if you do this and we would hate to have to write anyone a local ordinance for something so easy to avoid,” police said.
