Police searching for suspect in armed robbery of gas station (PHOTOS)

BLOOMSBURY BOROUGH, NJ (Hunterdon County) –  New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect wanted for an armed robbery that occurred Saturday night at a gas station in Bloomsbury.

At around 11:53 p.m., the suspect entered the Citgo Gas Station and approached the checkout counter where he allegedly brandished a handgun and demanded cash from the cashier.

The suspect then left the gas station on foot with cash.

He is described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 5’08”, and of medium build. He was last seen wearing a black watch cap, a black face mask, a black hooded jacket, black pants, and a fluorescent yellow safety west.

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III said, “Crime Stoppers of Hunterdon County has offered a cash reward of $500 for information that leads to the arrest of the Armed Robbery suspect. I remind our residents, if you see anyone matching that description, do not approach the suspect rather, notify
law enforcement immediately. Please remember all tips submitted will be kept anonymous”.
