State Police investigating attempted armed robbery in Knowlton Twp.

KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – New Jersey State Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred Sunday morning in Knowlton Township.

The incident happened at about 8:20 the Shell Gas station, located at 25 Route 46 west, according to State Police Spokesman Trooper Alejandro Goez,

A man brandished a hand gun and demanded money from the gas station attendant, Goez said.

No money was taken and the man then fled the scene in a vehicle, Goez said.

He is only being described as a white male and there was no description of the vehicle, Goez said.

“This is an ongoing investigation,” Goez said.
