Sussex County man faces drug, child neglect charges

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Sussex County man is facing drug and child neglect charges after he was allegedly spotted sleeping in his vehicle, police said.

Corey Kozdron, 25, of Sussex was charged with child neglect, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Oct. 17 at around 5:17 p.m., officers responded to QuickChek, located at 350 Route 57 W, to check on the welfare of a driver sleeping in a parked vehicle with a small child allegedly playing next to the vehicle, police said.

Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Kozdron was arrested, police said.

Kozdron was charged and released with a mandatory court date.
