Two charged following investigation into car burglaries

ROCKAWAY BOROUGH, NJ (Morris County) – Two Morris County men have been charged following an investigation into car burglaries in Rockaway Borough.

On Nov. 17, police received reports of multiple car burglaries on Monroe Place and Crestwood Road, police said.

After an investigation, Rockaway Borough Detective Bureau identified the vehicle along with M. Giasullo, 31, and M. Roche, 28, both of Rockaway as alleged suspects, police said.

Giasullo was charged with three counts of fraudulent use of credit cards, one count of attempted fraudulent use of a credit card, three counts of theft, possession of heroin and controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.

Roche was charged with four counts of burglary and two counts of theft for the motor vehicle burglaries.

Subsequent to bail reform, Roche was released pending a court appearance and Giasullo was transported to the Morris County Correctional facility pending a pre-trial hearing.
