UPDATE: 58-year-old Great Meadows man dies from injuries suffered in bicycle crash

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A 58-year-old Great Meadows man died from injuries he suffered in a bicycle crash Tuesday evening, according to New Jersey State Police spokesman Trooper Alejandro Goez.

Albert Kurnath was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center with severe life threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at 10:42 p.m., Goez said.

A passerby found Kurnath lying on the side of Danville Mountain Road near Hanzel Woods Dr at around 5:54 p.m., Peele said.

Through a preliminary police investigation it was revealed that Kurnth was riding his bicycle when he crashed and there is no indication that he was struck by a vehicle, Goez said.

The crash remains under investigation, Goez said.
