Vernon Twp. police investigating theft of hot tub, trailer

VERNON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – The Vernon Township Police is investigating a report of that a hot tub and trailer were stolen from the Lakeland Pools and Spas, located at 257 Route 94, at around 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, police said.

The suspect’s vehicle is believed to be a Ford F-350 Dually with two tone paint. The trailer that was stolen is a small tilting trailer specifically made for hot tubs, police said.

“As this would have been very unique to be driving down the road, a hot tub on a small tilting trailer, someone may remember passing this vehicle or seeing it,” police said.

Police ask that anyone that has video cameras that would be willing to, please check your systems.

Some of the details of this case are being withheld for investigative purposes, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Vernon Township Police Detective Bureau at 973-764-6155.
