VIDEO: Suspects light fireworks on front porch of New Jersey home

BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ (Somerset County) – Bernards Township police are looking to identify and locate two suspects after they allegedly lit fireworks on the front porch of a home.

The incident occurred on Nov. 23 at around 1:00 a.m. on Elizabeth Street, police said.

The suspects rang the victim’s doorbell and set off fireworks on their porch. Similar incidents have occurred in surrounding jurisdictions, police said.

Police request that the suspects come forward and turn themselves into authorities before someone is seriously hurt or property is damaged, police said.

The Long Hill Township Police Department in Morris County is also investigating a similar incident in the that occurred in Millington section of the township at around the same time as the Bernard’s Township incident.
