Woman charged with assault on female victim over Facebook post

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A New Jersey woman is facing an assault charged after she attacked a female over an alleged Facebook post.

Rosa Rojas, 18, of Clinton was charged with simple assault.

On May 1 at 3:05 p.m., township police responded to an apartment in Mansfield Village on the report of an assault, police said.

The victim advised the officer a female came to her door and asked her to step outside. The victim did so and she was attacked by the female, police said.

The victim received scratches to her face during the altercation. The female ran off when a neighbor approached, police said.

“The attack appears to have stemmed from a Facebook post made by the victim,” police said.
