Woman charged with DWI after hitting 4 parked cars in Mount Olive Twp.

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Budd Lake woman is facing multiple charges including DWI after she allegedly crashed into four parked cars in Mount Olive Township.

Jennifer R. Hellenbrand, 46, was charged with DWI, reckless driving, careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident.

On Dec. 22, at around 5:58 a.m., officers responded to the Village Green Apartment Complex after receiving several calls that a white sedan had crashed into four parked cars, police said.

When officers arrived on scene, they located Hellenbrand and her white Subaru, police said.

After police spoke to Hellenbrand, she allegedly showed obvious signs of impairment due to alcohol and/or drugs. She was then asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, police said.

Hellenbrand was arrested and charged. She was released to a sober driver pending a court hearing.
