Glen Gardner man charged with sexual assault in Warren County

A Hunterdon County man is charged in connection to a sexual assault investigation, according to the Warren County Prosecutor Richard Burke.

Roger Hodge, 52, of Glen Gardner was arrested on Wednesday for one count of second-degree sexual assault.

It’s alleged that between April and May of 2001, Hodge committed sexual penetration by using physical force or coercion. The victim did not sustain severe personal injury, Burke said.

The victim was an adult and known to the defendant, Burke said. It was not released where in Warren County the incident took place.

Hodge was scheduled for his first court appearance on Thursday. He is currently lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility, Burke said.

The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit conducted the investigation.

The crime is punishable up to ten years in state prison.
