Heroin, xanax found during traffic stop in Jefferson Twp.

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Sussex County man is facing multiple drug charges following a traffic stop last month.

On Jan. 27, Morris County Park police officers stopped a vehicle for an alleged moving violation in Jefferson Township, police said in a news release Monday.

An investigation led to Matthew R. Constantine, 25, of Newton to be charged with possession of suspected heroin and xanax, possession of hypodermic needles and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Constantine was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.
