Morris County authorities assisting NYPD in homicide investigation in Morris Twp.

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) -Authorities confirm an active investigation into an alleged homicide in Morris Township, according to Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp.      

On Tuesday,  Morris Township Police, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office – Crime Scene Investigation, the Prosecutor’s Major Crimes Unit, and the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office assisted the New York City Police Department in investigating a potential crime scene located at Bailey Hollow Road in Morris Township, Knapp said.

The investigation remains ongoing and further information will not be released at this time. There is no danger to the public at this time, Knapp said.
