HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Thousands of people dressed in green packed into Hackettstown on Sunday for the 11th annual Hackettstown St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
A succession of floats, bagpipers, cars and marching bands headed down Main Street and Mountain Avenue beginning at 3:30 p.m., as local residents gathered on the sidewalks to watch the parade pass by.
There were roughly 80 organizations, according to the Hackettstown Business Improvement District, and many handed out candy for the children.
James “Jim” Travis was this years grand marshal.
