Underage drunk driver crashes car in Washington Twp.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Long Valley man accused of crashing his car into the woods Tuesday evening is facing multiple charges including driving while intoxicated underage, police said.  

Christopher Waller was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, driving while intoxicated underage and leaving the scene of an accident.

At 5:53 p.m., officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Naughright Road in the area of Fawnridge Drive. When officers arrived on scene, they located the vehicle crashed into the woods, police said.

Waller was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and was arrested. He was later released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance, police said.
